Not everyone will scan the QR code. Some people have no smartphone, some call in, and some prefer to ask at the counter. Add them yourself and they'll get a token like everyone else.

Steps

  1. Open the queue.
  2. Tap the round Add person button at the bottom right.
  3. Type their Name. Add a Mobile number if they have one. For your team it's always optional.
  4. Tap Add.

You'll see who was booked, their token number and the expected time. From there:

  • The green WhatsApp button sends them their booking, if you entered a number.
  • Copy link copies the same link, to paste anywhere.

For a scheduled queue, first pick the date with the calendar button at the top, beside the QR button. The person is booked for that day.

Book their next visit

For a follow-up, book someone's next visit straight from the list, without typing their details again.

  1. Tap their name in Waiting or Completed.
  2. Tap Book next visit.
  3. Pick 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month or 3 months, or choose a date. Each quick pick jumps to the first open day with room on or after that date.
  4. If the queue uses time slots, pick a Time. If you don't, they get the earliest free time that day.
  5. Tap Book for….

They get a token for that day, with their name and mobile number. If WhatsApp is on for this queue, their token is sent to them there. This works on queues with opening hours (booking by date).

Questions

The queue requires a mobile number. Can I add someone without one?

Yes. Required applies only to people joining by themselves. Your team can add anyone.

They don't have a phone. How do they know their turn?

Tell them their token number. The display board shows it when you call them. See Show the queue on a TV or tablet.
