One Ticket. Every Checkpoint.
Event ticketing and QR check-in, from the gate to the last meal
Qwait Events is an event ticketing and QR check-in system: you sell tickets online, every buyer gets a QR ticket, and volunteers scan it on their own phones at the gate. The same ticket is scanned again for lunch, dinner, drinks, kits, exit or anything else you set up, for one-off events and for events that repeat daily or weekly.
Create your event · See pricing
Your first 100 people are free. Then ₹3.50 down to ₹2.00 a ticket, and the ticket money is all yours.
Sound familiar?
UPI screenshots everywhere
Payments come in on three phones, and you match screenshots to names late at night.
Passes that get shared
One ticket photo goes around a WhatsApp group, and five people try to walk in with it.
A long line at the gate
Volunteers tick names on a printed list while the crowd outside keeps growing.
Food coupons that run out early
Paper coupons get copied or collected twice, and the last batch of guests gets no lunch.
No idea who has actually arrived
You sold hundreds of passes, but you can't say how many people are in or have eaten.
Starting from zero every week
For a weekly class or a daily show, you rebuild the same ticket list again and again.
How it works
Create your event
Add the dates (or a repeating schedule), ticket types, prices and checkpoints like lunch, dinner or kits.
Sell tickets
Share your event link; buyers pay online, by UPI or in cash at your counter, and get a QR ticket.
Scan at every checkpoint
Volunteers open the scanner on their phone with a gate PIN and scan the same ticket at the gate, the food counter and the exit.
Why Qwait
One QR ticket for every checkpoint.
Set up entry, lunch, dinner, drinks, kits, exit or anything else, and volunteers scan the same ticket at each one.
Each checkpoint follows your rules.
Allow a scan once or many times, limit it to a ticket type, or require the ticket to be scanned at entry first.
All the ticket money is yours.
Buyers pay into your own payment gateway, UPI or payment link, or hand you cash. Qwait takes no commission and never holds your money.
UPI payments you can check.
When a buyer pays by UPI, they enter the reference (UTR), and you approve it after checking your bank or UPI app.
Volunteers scan without an account.
Each gate gets a scanner link and a PIN, so any volunteer phone becomes a scanner in a minute.
No reused passes.
A once-only checkpoint rejects a second scan and shows when and at which gate the ticket was already used.
Live counts while it happens.
The scanner shows how many tickets are confirmed, admitted and still awaited, and how many have been scanned at each checkpoint.
Events that repeat.
Run a daily show, a weekly class or a monthly meetup as one event, where buyers pick a date and each ticket is valid for its day.

Questions people ask
How do QR event tickets work?
Every buyer gets a ticket page with a QR code, which they can save, download or open from WhatsApp. At the event, a volunteer scans the QR code with their phone. Qwait checks the ticket instantly, shows "Admitted" or a clear reason it can't be used, and records the gate and the time.
Can one ticket cover entry, lunch and dinner?
Yes. Add checkpoints for lunch, dinner, drinks, kits, exit or anything else, and volunteers scan the same QR ticket at each one. Each checkpoint can be allowed once or many times, limited to a ticket type, or set to work only after the ticket has been scanned at entry.
Can a ticket be used twice?
No, not at a once-only checkpoint like entry. A second scan is rejected and shows when and at which gate the ticket was already used. For things like drinks or re-entry, you can set a checkpoint to count every scan instead, so the same ticket can be used as many times as you allow.
Do volunteers need an account to scan tickets?
No. Add a gate for each volunteer, and Qwait gives you a scanner link and a PIN. The volunteer opens the link on their own phone, enters the PIN and starts scanning with the camera. People who also handle the cash counter can be added to your event with the Team role.
Who receives the ticket money?
You do. Online payments settle to your own account, and UPI and cash come straight to you. Qwait never holds your money. For UPI payments, buyers enter their payment reference (UTR), and you approve the ticket after checking it in your bank or UPI app.
Can I sell tickets at the gate for cash?
Yes. Add someone with the Team role, and they can take cash at the counter and mark the ticket paid. The buyer gets the same QR ticket as an online buyer, so they go through the same gate scan and checkpoints, and the sale shows up in your event's orders.
Can I run a recurring or weekly event?
Yes. Set an event to repeat every day or on chosen weekdays, within a time window, until an end date or for a set number of times. Each day is its own session. Buyers pick their date, a ticket is valid only for its day, and your ticket types stay on sale for every upcoming day.
How much does event ticketing cost on Qwait?
Your first 100 people are free, with every feature. After that, each ticket uses one credit, from ₹3.50 down to ₹2.00 a ticket with prepaid credit packs. Qwait takes no commission: all the ticket money goes to you, through your own payment gateway, UPI, payment link or cash.
Does it work for multi-day events?
Yes. A fest or exhibition can run across several days as one event, and the same checkpoints, team and scanner links work on every day. For events that repeat on a schedule, such as a daily show, each day is its own session, and the gate warns if a ticket is scanned on the wrong day.
Do attendees need to install an app?
No. Buyers book and pay in their phone browser and get a ticket page with a QR code. They can save it, download it or open it from WhatsApp. At the gate, they just show the QR code on their phone. Volunteers also scan in the browser, so nobody installs anything.
Can I give free passes or discount codes?
Yes. Add a free ticket type for registrations, or create coupon codes for early-bird discounts, sponsors and guests, with limits and expiry dates. A 100% coupon gives a free pass, and you can choose to approve these before the ticket is confirmed. Free tickets get the same QR code and checkpoints.
Can I see how many people have checked in?
Yes. The scanner shows live counts: how many tickets are confirmed, how many have been admitted at the gate, how many are still awaited, and how many have been scanned at each checkpoint, such as lunch or kits. The counts update as volunteers scan, so you can plan food and people on duty during the event.
Need queues at your food or help counters? Every event can have its own queue, the same as Qwait Queue.
