Organiser Terms
Last updated 9 October 2026
These terms add to the Terms of Service for organisers who sell tickets, accept payments, or run free-to-start (revenue share) events on Qwait.
1. You are the seller
You sell the tickets and run the event. You are responsible for the event taking place as described, for entry, safety, and for any taxes on your ticket sales.
2. Getting paid
- With your own Razorpay account, buyers pay you directly. You keep your Razorpay keys valid and follow Razorpay's terms.
- With UPI to you, you must check each transaction ID against your bank or UPI app before confirming the tickets.
- With free-to-start events, buyers pay through Qwait's Razorpay account. Razorpay Route sends your share to your verified bank account, and Qwait keeps the share shown when you created the event.
3. Verification
For free-to-start events you must complete Razorpay's verification (KYC) with true details. Payouts start only after your account is verified.
4. Refunds, disputes and chargebacks
- You set and honour your refund policy, and refund buyers if an event is cancelled.
- For free-to-start events, refunds are paid from the original payment and your share is taken back from your linked account. If a buyer's bank reverses a payment (chargeback), the amount may be recovered from your future payouts.
- If your share has already been paid out and cannot be recovered, you agree to repay it to us.
5. Buyer data
Use buyers' details only to run the event and contact them about it. Do not sell them or use them for unrelated marketing without consent.
6. Suspension
We may hold payouts or pause ticket sales if we see signs of fraud, many complaints, or a breach of these terms, while we investigate.
