Set opening hours and let people book ahead
Choose On a schedule when you create a queue, or later in its Settings. Pick the days and hours it opens, then choose how far ahead people can book under People can book. The queue goes live by itself during those hours.

A scheduled queue suits a clinic, an office or a counter that runs on set days. People can take a token for today or a later date. The queue switches itself live when it opens and offline when it closes.
Steps
- When you create a queue, go to When does it run? and tap On a schedule. For an existing queue, open it, tap Settings and find its schedule.
- Under Repeat on, tap the days it runs. Dark circles are on.
- Choose Repeat every: every week, or every 2, 3 or 4 weeks.
- Set the time it Opens and Closes, and the date it Starts.
- Choose when it Ends: Never, On a date, or After a number of times.
- Under People can book, choose how far ahead: from Same day only up to 2 months ahead.
- Check the summary line under the settings. It reads back the schedule in words. Then save.
Time slots (optional)
A scheduled queue can also hand out times, not only dates. In the queue's Settings, under When does it run?, switch on Time slots. Then set the length of Each slot and the People per slot. People then pick a time when they book, and their token number follows the time.
Holidays and leave
When the queue won't open on a day it normally would, like a doctor's leave or a public holiday, close those days so nobody can book them:
- Open the queue, tap Settings and find Holidays & leave under its schedule.
- Pick the From and To days and tap Close. Only the days it would have opened are closed.
- If people have already booked one of those days, you're asked first. Their bookings stay on your list, so let them know.
Upcoming leave is listed there. Tap Open again to put those days back on the schedule. To close or open a single day, you can also tap it in the Dates calendar below.
What people see
- Joining, they see the next open day and the token number they'd get. They can tap the calendar to pick another day.
- Days you're closed, and days already full, can't be picked.
- Their phone shows their token and an expected time for that day.
Questions
Can I close for a holiday?
Yes. In the queue's Settings, under Dates, tap the date to cancel it. You can open an extra day the same way. The small number on each date shows how many have booked, so you know who to tell.
How many tokens per day?
Set Tokens per day under More options. Once a day is full, people can only pick another day.
Can my team still add walk-ins on a scheduled day?
Yes. See Add a walk-in or phone booking.
