Join a queue or book a token

Scan the queue's QR code with your phone camera, or open the link you were sent. Type your name (and mobile number, if asked) and slide to book. Your token and expected time show on your phone. No app needed.

You don't need an app or an account. All you need is a phone with a browser.

Steps

  1. Scan the QR code on the poster with your phone camera, then tap the link that appears. You can also open the link you were sent, or type the queue's code on qwait.in.
  2. If the queue is on a schedule, check the day. Tap the calendar to pick another day. Some queues also ask you to Pick a time.
  3. Type your Name. It's shown on the display at the counter.
  4. Add your Mobile Number if asked. Only the queue owner and their team see it.
  5. Slide to book (or slide to join).

You'll see You're booked!, your token number and your expected time.

Is it free?

Yes. Joining a queue is always free for you.

The QR code won't scan.

See Fix: the camera won't scan a QR code. Or type the link printed under the QR code into your browser.

It says the queue is full or closed.

The queue isn't taking more people right now. Check with the counter, or try again a little later. For scheduled queues, pick another day.

Can I book for someone else?

Yes. Type their name instead of yours. Use a separate booking for each person.

  • Check your place in the queue — After you join, your phone shows your token, how many people are ahead and about when it's your turn. It updates by itself. Keep the page or its WhatsApp link to check again, and use Leave queue if you can't come.
  • Fix: the camera won't scan a QR code — Most often the browser was blocked from using the camera. Allow the camera for qwait.in in your browser's settings and try again. Otherwise, close other apps using the camera, add light, or type the code printed under the QR.
