Show the queue on a TV or tablet

Open the queue and tap Display (Display board on a computer). It opens a full-screen board showing who's being served, who's next and the wait time. Open the same link on a smart TV, tablet or a laptop plugged into a TV.

The display board is a free token display for your waiting area. You don't need any extra hardware beyond a screen with a browser.

Steps

  1. Open your queue.
  2. On a phone, tap Display in the bar at the bottom. On a computer, tap Display board at the top. The board opens in a new tab.
  3. Open the same link on the screen you'll use: a smart TV's browser, a tablet, or a laptop plugged into the TV. To get the link there, copy it from the address bar, or send it to yourself on WhatsApp.
  4. Make it full screen. On most browsers, press F11 or use the browser's full-screen option.

What it shows

  • Now serving: the token at the counter
  • Next in Line and Upcoming: the tokens after that
  • Estimated Wait Time

It updates automatically as you call and serve people. Nobody needs to touch it.

Questions

Does it cost extra?

No. Display screens are unlimited and free.

Can I change its colours?

Yes. In the queue's Settings, open Look & display and tap Change. The theme applies to the join page and the display board.

The TV went to sleep. What do I do?

Turn off the TV's sleep timer or screen saver. When it wakes, the board picks up where the queue is now.
