The queue's page is the counter's screen: everyone waiting, in line order, with one-tap buttons.
Before you start
- The queue must be Live, unless it's on a schedule, which goes live by itself.
- Anyone on the queue's team can do this from their own phone.
Steps
- Open Ques and tap the queue. You'll see Waiting, in line order, with each person's token and expected time.
- When the counter is free, tap the first person, then the megaphone. This calls them. Their phone shows it's their turn, and a timer starts on your screen (Called 0:45 ago · 2:15 left).
- When they're done, tap the tick (Mark as served). They move to Completed, and everyone behind moves up.
- Tap the pin (or swipe their card left on a phone) when someone reaches the place: people who are Here move up the line. Swipe right, or tap the tick, to mark someone served.
Seeing more about someone
Tap a person's name to open their details: mobile number (with a call button), token, booking time and expected time.
The numbers at the bottom
| Number | What it means |
|---|---|
| Average | Time per person seen: from when you started (or opening time) to now, divided by the number served |
| Pace | Based on the last few people served. Before anyone is served, it shows your Planned pace |
| Expected end | When the last person waiting should be done |
If you fall behind the booked times, a note says Running N min behind, and everyone's expected time moves to match.
Questions
I marked the wrong person served. Can I undo it?
Yes. Under Completed, tap their name, then tap Put back in line.
Can two counters serve the same queue?
Yes. Each person on the team works from their own phone. They all see the same list, live.
Where do people who left or missed their turn go?
Under Missed, removed and left, below Completed. You can bring someone back from there.
